Frank were approached by Rinnai UK, a sector-leading hot water technology company, to redevelop their digital platforms with the aim of increasing traffic and sales conversions.
After a review of their existing HTML site, it became apparent that their digital platform was stagnant and no traffic was being driven through Google. As a result, their online search results weren't appearing on the first page - and in some cases of specific search terms, they were appearing as low as page 4.
What we delivered
We reviewed the User Experience, and as a result completely
re-designed the site with new navigation, calls to action and user interfaces.
Adding a Content Management System allowed Rinnai to manage their own content, and since the site’s launch this has resulted in a massive upturn in online traffic. Post-launch we have added additional functionality, including e-commerce areas, user area extranets and industry-specific functionality.
- In the year 2014-2015 (From March to March) there was a total of 34 inbound enquiries via the website. In the 3 months since launch this increased to 78. A projected year increase of 900%.
- Google search results in the first 3 months resulted in first page, top 3 search results on Rinnai's Top 10 search terms.
- Visit times on the site have increased, on average from 1 minute and 15 seconds to 6 minutes.
- The support package for the site will save Rinnai an estimated 70% in ad-hoc web development costs.
