NHS North West required a web portal that would allow all staff involved in the delivery of the ICATS / Choose And Book service to collaborate with each other, share information and contact colleagues directly regarding specific issues concerning their role in the service. The site needed to be maintained by facilitators in- house and needed to be secure so that only NHS staff could access confidential information.
Frank designed a content managed portal site that provided NHS North West site administrators with the tools to manage all areas of the portal in-house. Each user has their own user ID so that they can login to the portal, access certain documents and post on all ICATS/Choose And Book site forums. The site administrator controls the permissions granted to each user, meaning each user can be monitored by a site moderator. (This site is a secure site for internal NHS staff use only, so no links to the site can be added).
