Lark Hill School is based in Stockport and required a new website to publicise the expansion of their nursery as a childrens centre and the subsequent need to fill pupil places. Frank created an illustrative character for the nursery, young larky, and created a unique online environment designed to promote one of the schools strongest selling points; their excellent outdoor facilities. The illustrations also re-inforced the ethos of the school and the schools belief in the importance of family engagement in each childs education.
Frank created a family of characters designed to appeal to both children and parents and applied the characters to a series of interactive animations, age specific games and interactive pupil profiles which allowed pupils to update their own profile page, with their parents, within the site. We added a multimedia section so that the school can add their own video content from school trips and events, and the success of the website has given the school a large amount of local publicity to help achieve the aim of filling the extra pupil places.
