CDROM ‘Frank produced this CD-ROM to help Stockport Social Services to recruit much needed Foster Carers and Adoptive parents’ Stockport social services needed to increase the number of people becoming active foster carers and adoptive parents in the region. They were thinking of producing an information pack for prospective adopters, but Frank recommended a CD-Rom that would present the relevant information in an engaging, interactive form. Using interviews with those involved, FAQ’s, advice information and support advice, the CD-Rom has received national recognition and boosted the profile of Stockport foster and adoption significantly. The success of the first CD-Rom has prompted Stockport to commission a second Customer Care CD-Rom for internal staff use. |
